NMD
salutes the men and women who share their time, talents
and passion for dentistry with the Museum, serving as dedicated
volunteers.
Volunteer benefits include:
- Training
- Free admission to NMD and other Greater Baltimore History
- Alliance member museums
- Free parking
- 10% discount at the Museum Shop
- A personalized courtyard brick incentive after 100 hours
of service
- Invitations to the Museum’s
annual volunteer appreciation event.
There are two ways to become a National Museum of Dentistry
volunteer:
- Docents lead school children
through tours of the Museum’s
exciting and engaging galleries and assist the Director
of Education in facilitating MouthPower® programs
for Girl Scouts.
- Curatorial volunteers assist
the Museum’s
Curator in caring for the collection.
If you would like to join the volunteer team, either as
a docent or curatorial volunteer, please contact Beth Cooper, Director of Education and Public Programs, by
calling 410.707.0810 or emailing bcooper@dentalmuseum.umaryland.edu.
