Kids under 12 dressed in a tooth fairy costume receive FREE ADMISSION. Fun for the whole family.

Learn important lessons in oral health literacy while exploring the museum’s exhibits. Guided tours given at 10:00 am and 1:00 p.m. Reservations are required. Home school families receive tour admission rates with no minimum group size.

Healthy Smiles for Autism - Parent Workshop
Saturday, November 5, 10 a.m.-noon
The Museum offers a FREE workshop for parents of autistic children to help them succeed in teaching good oral health care. Parents can talk to experts from the Kennedy Krieger Institute, explore the unique oral health issues of children with autism spectrum disorder, and learn hands-on techniques to help their children transition to better dental care and more successful dentist visits. Who do you see in your community? Teachers, police, postal workers and dentists are some of the people you find in a town. Dress up, play and explore. What do you want to be when you grow up? Read “What Does a Dentist Do?”

Happy, sad, glad and mad. Our mouth can tell others what mood we are in. Children explore moods and see how to read facial expressions through objects, play and a craft. Read “A Good Day” and discover how bad days can turn into good days!
